Mangusta Oceano 50, signature for the fifth unit

The fifth Mangusta Oceano 50 belongs to the shipyard’s displacement line. Overmarine Group has recently announced the sale of this vessel.

The strongly recognisable external lines of this model bear the signature of Alberto Mancini, who worked with the yard‘s technical offices to design a 50-metre displacement vessel that allows owners and guests to experience direct contact with the sea while remaining under 500 GT. Light and voluminous decks are other distinguishing features. Full-height windows, fully opening doors and large glass surfaces ensure effective and optimal internal/external communication.

Mangusta Oceano 50 has a beach area developed on three interconnected terraces on the surface of the water with the covered area equipped with a comfortable sofa area; the stern cockpit has a large lounge area where guests can relax in total privacy; the upper and sun decks have dining and sunbathing areas and two swimming pools, the first of which, located on the upper deck, measures 6.50×2.60 metres and is equipped with a system that allows swimming against the current. A second pool is located on the top deck and, thanks to the infinity effect, guests can enjoy the panorama while immersed in the surrounding environment.

Sale of this unit took place thanks to the collaboration of the brokerage house Moran Yachts with whom the shipyard has also finalised the construction of an earlier Mangusta Oceano 50.

Interiors

The interiors allow for a layout that offers various possibilities for customisation. In this case, the owner has chosen a configuration with 5 cabins, 4 guests and a full beam gym on the lower deck and the master suite on the main deck equipped with an exclusive, fully automatic “balcony” overlooking the sea. Towards the bow, again on the lower deck, there are six cabins for the 12 crew members, while the captain has his own private cabin next to the wheelhouse on the upper deck.

The Mangusta Oceano 50, equipped with two 1,700 horsepower Mtu 12V 2000 M86 engines that allow it to reach a maximum speed of 16 knots and a cruising speed of 11 with a range of 4,500 nautical miles, is scheduled for delivery in summer 2025.

“The Mangusta Oceano 50 is a ship of unparalleled volumes in which outdoor and indoor spaces come together in a perfect union. Clients are increasingly looking for the spaces and key features of their exclusive villas and this ship is an excellent interpreter of this,” says Stefano Arlunno, Mangusta President Americas.
