Introduced in 1968, the Serpent Bohème collection has spanned the decades and has become a Boucheron classic. The elegant twists and turns of the design are a perfect example of the Maison Boucheron’s craftsmanship. The style and materials of the motif have evolved over the years, with brilliant pavé diamonds sometimes replaced by elegant shades of aquaprase, rhodolite and mother-of-pearl. As well known. the Serpent Bohème collection has become one of Maison Boucheron’s iconic pieces.
This sublimely coloured watch marks time in rose quartz. The bracelet is adorned with sixteen drop motifs alternating between rose quartz and diamonds.
Boucheron’s love affair with the emblematic Serpent began in 1888, when Frédérique Boucheron, the Maison’s founder, presented his wife Gabrielle with a magnificent Serpent necklace on the eve of his departure on a faraway journey. A symbol of the love that bound him to his wife, it was intended to protect her during his absence. From that moment on, the Serpent became the emblem of the Maison Boucheron, illustrating a message of love, fidelity and joy, a true talisman of the couple. Its emblematic codes, the drop set with diamonds and the honeycomb pattern, testify to the skill of Boucheron’s artisans.
The Serpent Bohème pendant features a round-cut diamond set on a twisted rose gold rope chain.
This season, Serpent Bohème embraces La Vie en Rose. Maison Boucheron sees its design in a new, rosy light, where the iconic Serpent Bohème motifs are reworked with elegant rose gold and rose quartz. The pastel hues of this gem lend a warm glow to rings, bracelets, necklaces and earrings for a contemporary look.
On the top, a softer version of the iconic Serpent Bohème ring. The twisted band, the collection’s signature, is adorned with a teardrop of pink quartz that enhances the warm tones of rose gold.
