Benetti Oasis Deck, don’t call it a beach club

Oasis Deck is Benetti’s new solution: a design choice that aims to make the terms “beach club” and “beach area” obsolete. First implemented on the Oasis 40M, it is now present on the new Oasis 34M, B.Now 50M and 66M models (top image).

Starting from an unprecedented design inspiration born in 2017, Benetti last September 2020 presented a 40-metre yacht aimed at a new generation of owners. At the heart of it all, a decidedly more convivial lifestyle, less and less formal and in favour of a closer contact with the sea, which is embodied in the Oasis Deck.

The Oasis Deck features opening wings that significantly increase the amount of space available in contact with the sea, while still remaining protected from the waves. There is also an integrated swimming pool, a 270-degree view aft, sheltered areas and sunbathing areas. All in the name of Social Design, to maximise the conviviality of this area.

The project, entrusted to the RWD studio, was first carried out on the Oasis 40m and then on her smaller sister, the Oasis 34m, with a different engineering package. The New York-based Bonetti/Kozerski studio, which created the interior of the 40M, decided to differentiate the design of the 34M by opting for a more sporty, youthful atmosphere with large open spaces. Owners can also choose a less traditional layout, with a more formal dining area in the Upper Deck Skylounge and the Main Deck furnished with sofas, a TV area and a bar in the bow.

The B.NOW 50m has instead allowed for the integration of additional features, such as a shaded American Bar and a fitness and spa area on the lower deck, which can also be used as an Adventure Room, with trampolines, kayaks and other equipment.

Finally, as for the flagship of the Oasis line, the B.NOW 66m Oasis, almost 50% of the main deck is dedicated to the Oasis Life, a design solution that integrates all the features of the Oasis Deck.

The success of the concept lies in the numbers, declared by Azimut|Benetti Group CEO Marco Valle: fourteen Oasis 40m, three Oasis 34m and six B.Now 50m have been sold. “It is easy to imagine a future where, for an increasing number of superyacht owners, the essential spaces onboard will include the Sun Deck, the Upper Deck, the Bridge Deck and the Oasis Deck,” he commented.
