The 19th edition of the prestigious Top Marques Monaco show closed its doors yesterday, marking a new triumph for this must-attend event in the world of automobiles, watchmaking and luxury products. From 5 to 9 June, the Grimaldi Forum welcomed over 29,000 visitors from all over the world, eager to discover the latest innovations and creations from over 200 exhibitors.
‘Although specific information on the exact number of sales realised during the show is not yet available, we can confirm that multiple brands made sales, even on the first night,’ said show director Emeric Garcia.
“We have never had such a successful edition, and we are very proud of this success. We want to thank all our exhibitors, sponsors and partners for believing in Top Marques. We would also like to thank our visitors for coming to Monaco for this great celebration of Supercar!”
World premieres
Under the High Patronage of H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, Top Marques once again confirmed its reputation as a launch platform for the most eagerly awaited novelties. Highlights of this edition included the presentation of several world premieres, including the LM1 supercar by Laffite Automobili, the GB110 by Bertone, the Porsche Macan Electric and the all-new Audi RS6 GT. These unprecedented creations caught the attention of collectors, high-tech enthusiasts and international media.
‘I am very happy to have chosen Top Marques Monaco for the world presentation of the Laffite LM1,’ said Laffite Automobili founder Bruno Laffite. “I am very pleased with the show, the number and quality of visitors. We received a lot of feedback from the media and influencers. I will be here again next year.”
“A new edition accompanied by numerous novelties, increasingly exceptional products. Top Marques is an unmissable event for our customers,’ added Manon Durrafourd, Communications Director of the Monaco Luxury group.
An environmentally sustainable event
This year, Top Marques Monaco placed special emphasis on sustainability and eco-sustainable innovation.
Several exhibitors presented environmentally friendly solutions, such as nanoFlowcell’s Quantino, the first battery-less electric supercar, McLaren’s Artura Spider, the Pininfarina Battista Edition Nino Farina, the Lamborghini Urus Hybrid and new products from BYD and Tesla, with the Cybertruck being a huge success on its first visit to the Principality.
Visitors and industry professionals enthusiastically received this turn towards greener luxury.
Vintage vehicles and watchmaking
The show also displayed an extraordinary range of vintage cars from the 20th century, such as a 1937 Silver Arrow, American supercars from Fast’N Classic and rare gems from Boutsen Classic Cars with a value in excess of €17 million. More than 70 collectors’ vehicles were on display, including historic models from Mercedes-Benz, Ferrari, Bugatti and Bentley, among others.
For fans of Fine Watchmaking and Jewellery, the fair also showcased a number of exceptional watches and jewellery, as well as motorbikes, superboats and works of art. Sales were confirmed in all sectors.
This 19th edition saw the return of sponsors such as Dassault Aviation, Deco-Flamme and Jutheau Husson, and the inauguration of new sponsors such as zondacrypto and NFTouring.
Przemyslaw Kral, CEO of zondacrypto, said: ‘We were pleasantly surprised by the number of visitors who came to our stand to discuss “crypto”. Top Marques is the best automotive event today and now it is also a place for people open to the world of cryptocurrency. We are excited about this collaboration. It has been a very fruitful five days.”
