The Italian shipyard Rossinavi presented with a private ceremony in its facility in Viareggio EIV. The custom-made superyacht was commissioned by a private American shipowner.
Previously known as Project Vector 50, EIV is a custom-designed high performance luxury three-deck superyacht. The project is the result of a combination of Rossinavi’s expertise, Italian interior and exterior design from the Venetian studio Team for Design – Enrico Gobbi combined with technological components from the United States.
The key components, as well as the electrical system, are in fact made in the USA and the American standard, since the boat will be based in American and Caribbean waters.
“This boat is a big step forward for Rossinavi. With the growing and significant interest that the shipyard is receiving from the American market, we are constantly working to find ways to collaborate with American suppliers in the production of fully customized boats. Following the success of the first member of the Vector family (a 63m launched in 2018) also delivered to an American owner, the EIV has the same sporting appeal and features as its “big sister”, such as the shallow draft, perfect for the Bahamas. Key elements are the pool on the sundeck, the lift and five cabins including the master suite at the bow,” comments Federico Rossi, Rossinavi’s Chief Operating Officer.
Inspired by elements of the automotive industry such as the ventilation grilles of a sports coupé, the exterior of EIV is enhanced by continuous glass surfaces. Despite its slim volume, the EIV embodies a spacious interior layout that can accommodate up to 8 people in four double cabins, located on the lower deck and each with a private bathroom. The full-beam owner’s suite is located at the front of the main deck and includes a private terrace on the starboard side.
EIV‘s design ensures a continuous dialogue between exterior and interior thanks to its full-height windows along the main deck, providing good interior lighting and a continuous view of the panorama.
The interior design boasts the contribution of Enrico Gobbi, who created most of the furniture, upholstered with high-end fabrics from leading international brands such as Hermès, Rubelli and Armani Casa.
