Porsche 911 GT3 – Collectible item

Created to mark Porsche Moldova’s fifteenth anniversary, this special 911 GT3 Touring is a true work of art on wheels

by Massimo Longoni

The Porsche 911 GT3 Touring Tree of Life is a car designed to tell a story, celebrate a culture and demonstrate how far the Zuffenhausen-based manufacturer’s most exclusive personalisation programme can go.

The project was developed in collaboration between Porsche Moldova, the German manufacturer’s design centre and the Sonderwunsch department – the division responsible for the most extreme and sophisticated customisations. The result is a car that retains all the technical characteristics of the famous GT3 Touring whilst adding a strong artistic and cultural element, inspired by one of Moldova’s most recognisable symbols: the Tree of Life. A Porsche 911 GT3 with a paint finish that is unique in the world.

The Pasha pattern has been used on the seats, door panels and other interior surfaces. It is a direct reference to traditional Moldovan folk costumes.

The bodywork features a complex colour gradient that starts with Viola Purple Metallic at the front and transitions to Chroma Flair Magic Magenta at the rear. The Tree of Life is not intended for mass production and does not represent a new version of the 911 GT3.

Among the most exclusive features are the Paldao wood finishes, found on the manual gear knob and the sports seats’ backrests. This detail is intended to symbolise the connection with nature and the country’s cultural roots.

Instead, this is a concept car, designed to showcase the potential of the Sonderwunsch programme – Porsche’s highest level of personalisation – which goes beyond simply choosing colours or accessories to offer the possibility of transforming a car into an authentic expression of the culture, history and identity of the person commissioning it. Through this service, customers can request highly advanced configurations that go beyond the options available in the official configurator.
