The Ibiza 44 model, powered by a triple outboard engine, is the evolution of the tried and tested Ibiza 44 model, which was born with shaft line propulsion or IPS. Fulvio De Simoni has looked after the design
The basic design has been revised and updated in many aspects with the adoption of a new hull and innovative technological solutions: the deep-V hull features two steps that allow for a significant reduction in friction with the water, improving the lift/wet area ratio.

Particular attention has been paid to the construction phase, using infusion lamination of the hull and superstructures in sandwich composite, with carbon fibre: this solution obtains considerable advantages, guaranteeing greater strength, lightness and less friction, and translates into particularly low fuel consumption, but at the same time with the possibility of reaching high speeds while maintaining great handling and stability.
It is worth highlighting the advantages of the outboard propulsion system, which frees up a huge amount of interior space in the stern technical areas that can be used for other purposes.
The first unit, under construction at the Shipyard, is destined for an American owner and will be presented in Florida, at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show in November.
On this hull size, in the outboard configuration, the Shipyard has designed a specific version for fishing enthusiasts, with a “tuna tower” (made of a light tubular structure), which houses a second steering position.
On board, a series of accessories such as the live bait tank, ice box, fighting chair, action and resting rod holders complete the specific equipment.
