Ferretti Yachts 860, the first unit in the water

Eight months after the project presentation, group photo and launch for the first Ferretti Yachts 860

The yacht, born from the synergy between the Strategic Product Committee, chaired by Engineer Piero Ferrari, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, is the third yacht developed by architect Filippo Salvetti for the exterior design and by the Ideaeitalia studio for the interior design. This flybridge yacht, 26.95 metres long overall and with a maximum beam of 6.22 after her maiden cruise in the Mediterranean, will be one of the protagonists of the Ferretti Group’s Private Preview in Monte Carlo and will make her world debut at the Cannes Boat Show in September 2022.

The Classico mood has been chosen for the fitting-out, interpreted by dark, warm colours with strong contrasts, highlighting the grandeur and lightness of a hull whose distinguishing features include maximum interconnection between exterior and interior, enhanced by a glass opening to starboard.

The 860 is intended to reflect the brand’s contemporary philosophy, that ‘Just like Home’ which encompasses comfort, Italian style and timeless design.

An evolution of stylistic features and the attention to architectural details make Ferretti Yachts 860 the ideal synthesis of the brand’s design vision: among the furnishing elements are the art deco-inspired curves, and the large sinusoidal staircase connecting the main deck to the lower deck, towards the centre of gravity of the interior layout.
