THE HISTORY OF The Colossi Modern Art Gallery BEGAN WITH THE OPENING OF A GALLERY IN THE NEARBY TOWN OF CHIARI IN THE ‘70s. Antonietta and Luigi Colossi have been navigating the art world for over thirty years, selecting works by both historical and contemporary artists with the greatest care for their collections. As esthetic tastes naturally evolved, Daniele Colossi, representing the second generation, has moved the focus towards works from the ‘50s, ‘60s and ‘70s, from informal idioms to pop figurations, from programmed art to Nouveau Réalisme.
And now this passion for art is moving into the third generation, as Antonella visits the studios of emerging artists, constantly seeking new expressions and novel forms from the artistic community to intoduce In the gallery. Above a works by Luca Moscariello. The gallery consists of three exhibition spaces, one of which hosts a collective show of both contemporary and historical artists.
