Baglietto Group announces the delivery of the latest CCN construction, the M/Y Run Away to her owner, represented by Camper & Nicholsons New Build Division
This is the first example of the DOM line, built-in aluminum. The M/Y Run Away is the result of the collaboration between the shipyard and the designer Stefano Vafiadis, who took care of both the interiors and the exteriors, finding inspiration for the latter in the lines of “car design”.
Run Away has uncommon features for a 37m yacht. The private terrace in the master cabin, for example, but also the lift that connects all the decks, from the lower deck to the sun deck.
Another highly characteristic feature of the yacht is the extensive use of windows, in response to an increasingly frequent request from owners seeking greater contact with the sea.
The layout of “Run Away” features a 6-cabin configuration, with the owner’s suite forward on the main deck and 5 cabins on the lower deck.
In the engine room, there are 2 CAT C32 engines from [email protected] which allow a cruising speed of 15 knots and a maximum speed of 16 and is certified ABS A1(E) commercial yachting service.
The DOM line from DOMUS, Latin for “House”, was essentially born from the concept of a boat that encapsulates the positive sensations linked to one’s own residence: an intimate and serene space, comfortable and elegant and at the same time airy and functional.
Currently under construction at Baglietto’s Carrara headquarters is hull no.2 of 40m for delivery in spring 2022, and construction has just begun in speculation on a third unit with hybrid motorization for delivery in spring 2023.
