The DOM 133, as well as the DOM series, are designed by Stefano Vafiadis. A successful collaboration between the Baglietto shipyard and Fernando Nicholson of Camper & Nicholsons on behalf of the shipowner
The DOM range is characterized by contemporary exterior lines inspired by automotive design and by generous interior volumes and open spaces. The DOM133 is the largest model in the line. Suitable for transoceanic navigation, the 40-meter boat features an aluminum hull and a shallow draft of 2.10 meters, making it suitable for navigation in shallow waters.
With a beam of 8.70 meters, the DOM 133 has a generous interior volume and boasts living spaces and solutions that are unusual for yachts of this size. An example of this is the layout of the main deck, conceived and developed to ensure optimal flow between the interior and exterior areas while enhancing the convivial atmosphere. The main saloon on this deck has floor-to-ceiling opening panoramic windows that make it a natural extension of the aft cockpit.
The shipyard has recently started speculative construction of a third sister vessel. The vessel will be equipped with standard hybrid propulsion and will be available for delivery in spring 2023.
An original feature is the panoramic glass staircase integrated into the structure of the main deck. The 2-level beach club with an infinity pool completes the layout. Two Caterpillar C32 engines allow the boat to reach a maximum speed of 17 knots.
