AFTER TRIBUTES TO THE MYTH OF ATLANTIS and Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Van Cleef & Arpels celebrates the enchantment of fairy tales with a line of fine jewellery inspired by Perrault’s Peau d’Âne, or Donkeyskin. The Maison expresses some of its favourite themes from female figures of the forties to bewitched nature, the delicacy of couture ornaments and the language of feelings. The fairy tale theme thus gracefully meets the magic of the gems, exceptional “Pierres de Caractère” with exclusive chromatic gradations conveying impalpable nuances in fascinating stone cuts.
