Lürssen launched project 1601’s completed hull and superstructure in Rendsburg, Northern Germany: designed by Espen Øino, interiors by Dölker + Voges
No further details were given by the shipyard, and spectators may have to wait until next year when she makes another appearance. Project 1601, designed by Espen Oeino, is dominated by planar surfaces, straight lines, and angular corners. The exterior styling suggests a geometrical precision, which will also be maintained for the interior, designed by Dölker + Voges.
Cornelsen & Partner is acting as Project Manager in the Owner’s team throughout the construction process. After the launching, project 1601 went into Lürssen’s floating dock, waiting for her next and awaited appearance.
