Many topics will be discussed, on April 3 and 4, at the next Seatec, the exhibition of technology, components, design and subcontracting applied to recreational boating. In parallel, it will also take place Compotec, an event dedicated to the composite materials industry and their applications.
Organized by IMM CarraraFiere, Seatec and Compotec operate within the nautical supply chain and composite materials as knowledge suppliers, places of professional meeting between supply and demand for professionals of the respective sectors and propose a wide variety of conferences that deals with topics related to new dynamics of the nautical and composite materials market.
Among the events, there will be the conference New frontiers for the reduction of emissions, where the engineer Enrico Ursomando, head of Rina Academy, will examine all the solutions currently under study to reduce the emissions of large engines: batteries, flue gas cleaning, alternative fuels, LNG (liquefied natural gas), fuel cell engines. Fincantieri will then present the study carried out together with Cetena for a totally zero emissions ship, a project they will develop in the coming years.
The engineer Maurizio Archetti, of Ecospray, will examine in detail the problem of limiting and controlling the emissions of large marine engines with solutions proposed by Ecospray itself. The architect Andrea Parodi will provide the solutions applied by the Tankoa shipyard, while the engineers Michelangelo Casadei of Ferretti Group, Paolo Bertetti, of Sanlorenzo, Giorgio Gallo of Rina and Stefano Pagani of Ucina, will introduce the solutions applied in yacht production.
The topic of logistic/port-sector supply chain linked to the role of port facility in central-northern Tyrrhenian for Italian and European economy and the analysis of the specializations of ports in middle and upper Tyrrhenian will open the convention of the 2019 editions of Seatec and Compotec. The conferences will also deal with topics such as the analysis of circular economy and the relative recycling of materials, a theme strictly connected to the disposal of vessels that are no longer usable.
As part of the analysis of the tourism port system, the problem of bureaucracy will be taken in account, a matter that is holding back the evolution of the marinas, in a conference that will be attended by Stefano Ciuoffo, councilor for the State and Tourism of Tuscany.
On the occasion of this edition of Seatec and Compotec 2019, The Seatec-Compotec Academy has also been re-established. This training offer is also aimed at professionals, both engineers and architects, who need CFPs and Professional Training Credits to comply with the requests of their respective professional orders.
