Azimut Yachts nominates Andrea Antichi as General Manager

Antichi took office on May 12, 2025, reporting hierarchically to CEO Marco Valle. He will be responsible for defining the Division’s strategic directions

Andrea Antichi, a mechanical engineer, has a solid professional background, built within leading industrial realities. When in 2006 he joined Ferrari, he had discovered over time increasing responsibility roles in the manufacturing area, until he was appointed Chief Manufactoring Officer, a respinsability that he held until joining the Azimut Benetti Group. Before, he gained experience in the technical field in Piaggio and he had an active role in research in the Rizzoli Orthopedical Institues, where he worked in computational biomechanics.

Antichi together with the top management will be the responsible manager for defining the Division’s strategic directions and achieving its economic and industrial goals, with a priority focus on consolidating the production footprint, which is currently at the center of a transformation and strengthening plan.

“Andrea’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment for the Azimut Division, which is focused on laying the groundwork for an ambitious vision for the years ahead and accelerating industrial development through a more structured approach and a commitment to continuous innovation. The transformation of the Avigliana shipyard—now capable of producing yachts up to 26 meters—stands as a concrete example of this journey. Thanks to his experience and managerial vision, Andrea will play a key role in leading this new phase of growth, making production processes even more efficient, and further raising our quality standards,” commented Marco Valle, CEO of the Azimut Benetti Group.

“After nineteen years at Ferrari, a symbol of Italian automotive excellence worldwide, I’ve chosen to come on board with a brand that represents excellence in the world of yachting”, commented Andrea Antichi, General Manager of Azimut Yachts.

On this occasion, the Azimut Benetti Group expressed its gratitude to Daniele Romiti for his dedication in the role of General Manager since 2022. During his tenure, Romiti led significant development projects to strengthen Azimut’s production sites, with a particular focus on implementing initiatives to improve the sustainability of industrial processes—such as the introduction of energy self-generation systems and circular economy practices.
