Baglietto to build sixth T52 with hybrid propulsion

Baglietto has won the order for the sixth model of T52, the 52m yacht designed by Francesco Paszkowski Design. The order was acquired thanks to the support of Kirill Kuatov of Alberton Yacht.

The boat will be equipped with an increased hybrid propulsion system that will allow the choice of a more efficient navigation mode to further reduce consumption and environmental impact: in electric mode, in fact, the yacht will be able to moor at anchor for up to 12 hours with the support of batteries alone. Two C32 engines will however allow the yacht to reach a maximum speed of 16 knots and a range of 4,500 nm in traditional mode.

“We are extremely proud of the acquisition of this order, made possible also thanks to the excellent cooperation with Kirill Kutov and his entire technical team,” comments Fabio Ermetto, CCO of Baglietto. “Having sold six T52s is an absolutely extraordinary result, especially if we consider that the first model has not yet gone into the water. Undoubtedly the success is to be found in the perfect mix between an attractive design and Baglietto’s ability to translate market requests for elements such as, for example, large volumes and liveability in an original and innovative way, creating a model that has no real competitors in the market below 500 GT”.

The design

Francesco Paszkowski has designed a contemporary yacht, with soft, streamlined lines that well represents the soul of today’s Baglietto without denying its past, and the ability of the shipyard to understand the needs and demands of today’s market, succeeding in transforming it into a unique product with a strongly distinctive personality.

Contact with the sea is guaranteed by the original design of the open stern with a beach club arranged on 3 levels – already a trademark of the new Baglietto course: the large swimming pool has the special feature of a “retractable” closure, thanks to a floor with up/down movement that allows the deck space to be further extended when not in use.

The large full-height windows that can be opened on 3 sides of the upper deck create a pleasant “al fresco” lounge area with a conversation and dining area that can be enjoyed in any weather.

Approximately 24 metres long, the sundeck is another distinguishing feature of Baglietto’s style, is unrivalled on the market for yachts of similar size and volume, and confirms the brand’s tradition of displacement yachts.

The vessel is scheduled for delivery in 2025.
