The plaque ceremony and laying of the keel marks the start of construction of Veloce 32 RPH, the 32-metre custom designed by Hydro Tec di Sergio Cutolo
A festive day at the Adria headquarters of Vittoria Yachts where the laying of the keel of the Veloce 32 RPH was celebrated with the fascinating affixing of the plaque that recalls an ancient and noble ceremony in maritime tradition. Built on spec, it benefits from the centuries of experience in shipbuilding by Cantiere Navale Vittoria: Veloce 32 RPH is the nine hundred and first construction.
“Veloce represents an ideal bridge between the tradition of Cantiere Navale Vittoria and the present and future of Vittoria Yachts. In the Veloce 32 RPH we have tried to transfer, adapting them, the characteristics of safety, efficiency and innovation typical of Fast Patrol Vessels that have served and continue to serve some of the most important national and international military navies,” comments Paolo Duò, Chairman of Cantiere Navale Vittoria and Vittoria Yachts.

Construction of the semi-displacement light-alloy superyacht, designed entirely by naval architecture and engineering firm Hydro Tec, is expected to be completed in January 2024.
“We inaugurate 2022 with this exciting ceremony that ideally marks the beginning of a new construction adventure. A new construction that will be distinguished by its ability to accommodate all requests for customisation and to encompass all the features typical of 30-metre superyachts while still guaranteeing high performance. The on-spec construction of the hull and superstructure frames and the complete engineering of Veloce allows for a reduction in delivery times of around a year, which is essential for those who want their boat as soon as possible,” adds Michele Zorzenon, CEO of Vittoria Yachts.

Veloce 32 RPH is 32 metres long, has a beam of 7.20 metres and is spread over three decks. Her semi-displacement hull makes her capable of sailing safely in any sea in the world at a maximum speed of 20 knots thanks to the motorization provided by a pair of Man 1,900 horses. Range at 12 knots is close to 2,000 miles.
Performing in terms of speed but conceived for long navigation, Veloce 32 RPH is a concentrate of efficiency, comfort and timeless design. Its particular lines designed by Hydro Tec herald a vocation for safe navigation, characterised by a straight bow and a raised gunwale that makes the area of the bulwarks and bulwarks more masculine and important and at the same time helps to offer greater privacy and protection to the external areas; the pilot house has a low profile with a reversed windscreen for a modern and distinctive design.

The elegant, contemporary interiors are designed to be totally connected with the outside world; sliding doors and windows provide unique, airy spaces, with uninterrupted views of the outside panorama, ensuring unrestricted use of the spaces, and the interior heights are outstanding. The style of the interiors is modern and refined, with great attention to detail. Leather and furnishings by Poltrona Frau, combined with precious wood elements, will contribute to create highly refined environments.
“For the construction of Veloce our shipyard is drawing on its hundred years of experience in shipbuilding and its focus on innovation,” says Paolo Duò,
says Paolo Duò.

“Progetto Veloce totally represents the spirit of Vittoria Yachts, a yard that is highly specialised in the construction of fast hulls in light aluminium for the forces of law and order,” comments engineer Sergio Cutolo, founder of Hydro Tec. “If Bow Sprit embodies the ideal strong ship for cold seas and ocean exploration, Veloce is a typically Mediterranean boat, relatively fast, with wide, open spaces and a large owner’s suite on the main deck. The vertical bow, perfectly matched to the hull lines, gives Veloce an aggressive image that also translates into high efficiency at different speeds. The low profile of the cockpit, with the windscreen at an inverted angle, takes its cue from the fast patrol boats built by the yard and, as well as contributing to the aggressive look, offers perfect visibility from the helm station and to the instrumentation on the bridge”.

“From the first wooden boats in the squero founded by my grandfather Luigi to today, many things have changed, but what has never been missing is the passion and the will to make dreams come true. Vittoria Yachts is one of these dreams, a desire we’ve carried within us for years, and finally the time has come to set sail for new seas, with the wind in our sails and the desire to bring the Vittoria Experience to as many people as possible,” concludes Cantiere Navale Vittoria and Vittoria Yachts Chairman Paolo Duò.
