Veco, a manufacturer of innovative marine refrigeration and air conditioning systems, presented the latest products from its Climma and Frigoboat brands at METS in Amsterdam.
For the Frigoboat brand, Veco presented the new Frigomatic condensing unit. A line designed for self-installation, Frigomatic offers a 12V or 24V DC refrigerator or freezer, available in three models: air-cooled, keel-cooled or water pump-cooled.
The line is compatible with all Frigomatic evaporator plates and thermostats, with all components connected by the Frigoboat “quick connect” system. The novelty also lies in the size, which is even smaller.
Also presented was the new VecoHub system for centralised control of all Veco systems on board through a single control interface.
VecoHub can be operated via a 10′ Veco vTouch touch screen display, via the on-board MFD/chartplotter or directly from a tablet/smartphone.
It is also possible to configure different interfaces depending on who is using the system; administrator users can manage all Climma or Frigoboat onboard systems, while basic users and guests can have dedicated views of individual cabins for superyacht or charter-oriented operations.
To keep the air on board clean at all times, Veco presented the new Climma AERO heat recovery system.
Climma AERO heat recovery units make it possible to change the air inside the cabins while maintaining a constant air flow, recovering the heat from the cabin itself during the winter and reducing the air intake temperature during the summer.
The system adapts to the different air volumes required thanks to multiple speeds. Equipped with integrated Climma electronic control, optional automatic bypass for free-cooling, and high-efficiency exchange coil.
