The Italian Sea Group presented “Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63”, a boat born from the combination of the excellence of the nautical world, Tecnomar, and that of super sports cars, Lamborghini.
The Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 project, which began with joint design analysis sessions, was developed by Tecnomar with the contribution of the Lamborghini Style Centre and is inspired by the Lamborghini Siàn FKP 37, the hybrid super sports car, completely custom in color and detail. The challenge of interpreting the common traits of the DNA of both brands has inspired all the design phases, from the styling to the definition of the technical characteristics able to ensure maximum performance, without neglecting the quality of the materials, carefully worked with attention to every single detail.
Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 represents the vanguard of luxury speed boats. Inspired by the performance of Lamborghini super sports cars, there are two innovative elements at the basis of its design concept: speed and dynamic lightness.
Thanks to the presence of two MAN V12-2000 hp engines, the motor yacht can reach 60 knots of speed and will be the fastest boat in The Italian Sea Group’s Tecnomar fleet, able to meet the needs of the collector and those who love to live the sea. The use of carbon fibre, a typical element in Lamborghini cars, guarantees classification in the range of ultra-light boats with a maximum weight of 24 tons per 63 feet in length.
The first model of Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 will be ready by the beginning of 2021.
“In May, we announced the signing of the agreement with Automobili Lamborghini – comments Giovanni Costantino, CEO of The Italian Sea Group – and today we present Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63, a motor yacht that I’m sure will become a futuristic icon like the car it is inspired by. Selected owners worldwide will own not only the fastest Tecnomar motor yacht in the fleet, but a unique Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63. I am proud to have chosen to realize this innovative and challenging project with Automobili Lamborghini, combining technology, design excellence, quality and performance, which will give us great satisfaction”.
Katia Bassi, Marketing and Communication Chief Executive Officer of Automobili Lamborghini said: “This yacht best represents what it means for us to create a quality partnership: the essence of all our collaboration is to transfer our style and experience into worlds that, despite their diversity, have our traits in common, so that they can be interpreted to add value. If I had to imagine a Lamborghini on the water, this would have been my vision. So I am happy to celebrate this success today.
The exterior design of the motor yacht is characterized by a sporty, cutting-edge, and out-of-the-ordinary silhouette. The hull and superstructure are the results of a high-performance hull designed by the team of naval engineers specialized in the study of hydrodynamics, who relaunch in a contemporary key the historic lines created by Marcello Gandini for the iconic Lamborghini Miura and Countach cars of the 1960s and 1970s. The hardtop is inspired by Lamborghini’s roadster models and guarantees a high level of aerodynamic performance and at the same time protection from sun and wind.
The bow lights are a tribute to the Third Millennium concept car and the Lamborghini Sián FKP 37, both of which feature front headlamps whose design is the distinctive signature of Lamborghini styling.
The interior of the Tecnomar for Lamborghini 63 is the result of high-tech design based on the use of high-performance materials, in terms of weight and functionality, combined with the best tradition of Italian craftsmanship. In fact, there are elements typical of Lamborghini, such as hexagons, clean lines, and Y’s. Finally, the colors and materials are 100% customizable through the Ad Personam program.
The choices of customization are many: from the color of the exteriors, which takes inspiration from Lamborghini’s paints and specific liveries to the interiors, available in two versions with a wide range of material combinations.
The dashboard interprets the automotive cockpit in a nautical key, in which all the navigation and monitoring systems are fully integrated.
As in Lamborghini super sports cars, there are also carbon fiber details, the use of the Carbon Skin, the supersport seats, and the rudder/wheel plane. Finally, the “start&stop” button (present on the yacht in two units, one per engine) is exactly the same that starts the engine of Lamborghini super sports cars.
