How does a Quick Gyro stabilizer come into being and how does it work? And, above all, how does life change aboard the boats that install it? A new video released by the Ravenna-based company explains it.
“We are proud to present to the whole world our gyro “jewel” – comments Michele Marzucco, President & CEO of Quick Spa – Only by showing its production process that is developed in all its phases within our company, we are able to convey the advantages of the Quick Gyro gyro stabilizer and the values behind it: technology and innovation but also maximum attention to detail and a Made in Italy that today more than ever means high quality and a sense of belonging”.
The MC² Quick Gyro gyro stabilizer developed by Quick is equipped with a flywheel rotation system on horizontal axis, a solution that implies less mechanical stress and friction, drastically reducing heat generation. They are air-cooled and therefore do not require new seawater intakes and water pumps.
During the creation of the video, Quick Spa opened the doors of the company and production: every single component of the stabilizer is produced in the internal mechanical workshop and then carefully assembled and tested for at least twelve hours using a tilting machine that simulates situations of maximum stress and roll, all inside the company. The video also contains some important statements that testify to the confidence that the stabilizer is gaining and the international success it is enjoying.
