Project Fury, the new sailing superyacht concept

Project Fury is Rob Doyle Design and Van Geest Design‘s new 63m sailing superyacht concept. Plenty of space, thanks to a gross tonnage of 705gt.

Performance is ensured by an alloy hull and racing foils while maximising ease of movement on board by removing unnecessary equipment and simplifying onboard systems. To maximise interior space, a full-beam main deck has been adopted.

The large Space Deck houses the helm and control stations, as well as seating for guests. Here there is also access to the aft deck, crew access, winches, dumbwaiter, stowage space and lifeboats. In the centre of the deck is a guest area, divided into sunbathing aft and lounge/dining forward with bar/bench and access to the main deck.

On the main deck forward is the 95-square-metre full-beam owner’s cabin, featuring a full-beam window towards the bow. At the entrance to the cabin is an office, also featuring large windows and balconies.

The Foredeck houses two large compartments that can hold two 7-metre tenders, which can be launched with a hydraulic crane. These compartments can be converted into swimming pools. The owner can have private access to this area from the cabin.

The main atrium is the transition area from the owner’s cabin to the 130 m² saloon. A breakfast area and saloon are located in the large open space with floor-to-ceiling windows from deck to deck. A galley and crew mess are located on the port side of this deck. Aft deck seating overlooks the rear of the yacht.

The lower deck aft has ample storage space for sports equipment such as surfboards, sea bobs and all the necessary diving gear. An integrated swimming platform is located aft, while the engine room is located forward. Two double guest cabins and two VIP cabins are located in the middle of this deck.
