Moon Sand by Lürssen arrives in London

The new 55.5 m motor yacht Moon Sand by Lürssen made her way up the River Thames to Tower Bridge after leaving the shipyard in Germany.

Moon Sand spent a week at the heart of the City’s financial and historic centre, moored just downstream of the London landmarks Tower Bridge and the Tower of London.

Lürssen

Lürssen is known for manufacturing the largest yachts in the world but is also actively targeting projects in the 55 to 75 meter range, with Moon Sand as a first step in re-establishing the brand as a serious shipyard for yachts in that size bracket as well.

Lürssen

The designers, Bannenberg & Rowell, gave Moon Sand her very distinctive lines for experienced yacht owners who had very precise requirements and a developed sense of spatial awareness and colour.
