Mallorca welcomes Wally for Palma International Boat Show

Wally is showcasing some of its most recognizable and iconic boats at the Palma International Boat Show, scheduled this year from today through April 30. The innovative Monegasque yachting brand brings one of its most beautiful sailboats and a wallytender to the Balearic playground in Palma de Mallorca.

On the roll call is the 23.99 m Bombarda, the Farr-designed Wally 80 launched in 2004, whose fast lines have been repeatedly demonstrated in Med maxi races. Also present is an example of the very elegant Wallytender48, which demonstrates how much joy there can be in dayboating.

“This is the first time Wally has been present at the Palma International Boat Show, and it really seems like a perfect match,” says Stefano de Vivo, managing director of Wally. “Mallorca is increasingly becoming a true center for superyacht sailing in a beautiful environment, and Wally’s yachts have always been at the forefront of performance, innovation and beauty.”

Bombarda is a perfect example. With her teak-lined decks and low roof, she features a sleek profile interiors. Her recognized speed potential stems from an all-carbon hull and sophisticated sail handling technology.

At the other end of the scale is the wallytender48, with completely new lines starting in 2019. As a thoroughbred dayboat, exhilarating speeds of up to 38 knots are possible thanks to two Volvo Penta IPS650 inboard engines. Bow and stern saloons and extendable railings emphasize outdoor living. Below deck is a double cabin.

Visitors to the Palma International Boat Show also have the opportunity to see the wallywhy200, KIKI V, launched in 2022.
