Luxury Living Group on board RSY 40m Explorer

Luxury Living Group on board the Ravenna-based shipyard’s new model, for which it signs the interiors and decor. 

After M/Y Emocean, the 38m Explorer launched in 2021, the Ravenna-based shipyard Rosetti Superyachts “relaunches” with the RSY 40m EXP, a Hydro Tec project that bears the signature of Luxury Living Group in the interior design and decor.

For the RSY 40m EXP, Rosetti Superyachts has also chosen to present the client with a rather defined interior design proposal.

The choice fell on Luxury Living Group, which collaborates with important international brands: Versace, Dolce&Gabbana, Trussardi, Bentley Motors and Bugatti, as well as its own Luxence Luxury Living brand.

“The collaboration with Luxury Living Group stems from the desire to present a project like the 40m EXP in a different way, already proposing an elegant and modern furnishing solution developed with a company that has made custom and luxury furniture its flagship. The 40m EXP gives us the chance to explore some features already glimpsed in the 38m EXP and to propose them in different solutions on the interiors as well, with a customisation suggestion that can clearly be modulated on the client’s needs,” said Andrea Giora, Sales & Marketing Director of RSY.


Based on the naval platform of the 38m EXP, the RSY 40m EXP adds an optimal bow section and a longer, flatter and relatively dry stern. The cruising range is in excess of 5,000 nautical miles at a speed of 10 knots, combined with a refinement and taste never before seen on vessels in this category.

Starting from the M/Y Emocean, Mr Cutolo designed a 40m steel and aluminium yacht with powerful and rigorous lines, destined for long voyages.

“The 40m EXP allowed us to reinterpret and refine ‘Emocean’ by adding features and solutions that the spaces of the 38m did not allow us,” commented Eng. Cutolo.

The interiors

Luxury Living Group has opted for a decor where the watchword is coherence: both in terms of loose furniture – with furnishings selected from all the LLG collections – and in terms of fabrics, essences, and metals. In fact, there is a constant harmony that unites the pieces and the environments, declining tones, brightness, and contrasts according to the different uses. On board, a neutral and restful palette predominates, “lit up” by touches of colour that warm the environment and liven it up, allowing for customisation by the owner or decorator.

The main saloon is very bright, a feature accentuated by the mirror on the ceiling. The “cloud” white of the walls, the sofa and the large dining table with its Carrara marble top is warmed by the metal finishes – a leitmotif that we will find throughout the boat – the marble or bronze coffee tables, the lamps and the delightful dining chairs, which, like the poufs, choose particular acid yellow hues to give movement.

In the owner’s suite, with its private balcony, neutral dove-grey colours prevail, warmed by splashes of cognac, blue and the sculptural movement of the wall that stretches from the head of the bed to the ceiling; the dark wood vanity and the iconic Kingston armchair by Bentley Home are highly sought-after.

The bridge deck salon, responding to the same search for contrast between neutral tones and colour and materiality, features a modular sofa from the Trussardi Casa line and D&G Casa armchairs in the Mediterranean blue theme.

The bridge deck in its outdoor declination features furniture from the Stiletto line by Versace Home presented at the Salone del Mobile 2022, decorated with a jungle pattern.
