Lagoon has published the first images of the new 51. The VPLP studio was in charge of the design, the interiors are by Nauta Design.
The world premiere of the Lagoon 51 is scheduled for 20 April 2022 at the International Multihull Show in La Grande-Motte. The French yard’s new catamaran, said the designers of the VPLP studio, is a synthesis of modernity of form and sail plan, with surprising living space on deck and inside. Like most Lagoon models, the interiors bear the Italian signature of Nauta Design.
We will have to wait until this summer to see it live in Italy. Lagoon has planned, as it did for the 55, the World Tour that will touch various locations with private open days open to the public.
The cruising catamaran market today demands increasingly innovative solutions and aesthetically appealing boats that will appeal to both the demanding owner and the charterer who prefers comfortable boats.
Simone Morelli’s NSS Yachting, best European dealer 2019 and 2020, announces the inclusion of the new 51 in the charter fleet at the Cala dei Sardi base for next year and is preparing to welcome the stage of the world tour in July.
The new 51 has a large flybridge and features the eco-friendly solution of solar panels, plus an optional hardtop that can also be fitted with solar panels. The cockpit will have the traditional aft sofa, different from the 55’s “open sea terrace”.
