Launch and delivery of Ibiza 85, a 27m yacht presented just under a year ago by Austin Parker.
This sporty craft was designed and built-in close collaboration with Fulvio De Simoni Yacht Design. The design is sleek, elegant and sporty, with plenty of space in the cockpit, deckhouse and, above all, below deck. Thanks to the technical solutions adopted on board, the Ibiza 85 is also ideal for owners of an older age.
What stands out is the saloon, which is in continuity with the 15-metre-long cockpit (between the helm station and swim platform). Two side windows and the large glass door at the stern close and protect the saloon, emerging from the “hidden” position.
The cockpit is equipped with a sundeck, under which there is a hangar housing the tender and other accessories, as well as a dining area with a central table and seating for 10. Under the hard-top, there are sofas and furniture to serve the dining area and equipped with refrigerators and freezers.
On the helm station, there are 2 pairs of armchairs, all independent, to accommodate the pilot, co-pilot and two guests. On the same floor as the saloon is an area equipped with a “U” shaped sofa, two convertible tables, sun deck and 4 chaise-lounges facing forward.
Ibiza 85 has a beam of 7 metres, combined with the 27 metres of the boat, dimensions that allow the presence of 5 independent cabins (3 doubles, 2 twins) each with bathroom and shower, a large kitchen and accommodation for 3 crew members, completely separate and with independent services.
Engines and technical data
In the engine room there are two Man 2,000 hp each and Arneson n°15 surface drive unit, allowing a maximum speed of 40 knots; alternatively with 3 Man 2,000 hp each engines the boat is credited with a maximum speed of 47/48 knots.
The yacht is equipped with 6,000 litres fuel tanks and 1,500 litres water reserve, 2 Onan 27 kW generators, Seakeeper 26 stabilizer, air conditioning and the most sophisticated electronics.
