This is the first megayacht built by Gulf Craft. The shipyard unveiled the work in progress for the construction of the 54-meter yacht giving a tour of its facilities. Journalists also had the opportunity to meet the design team involved in the project.
Acknowledged by the public during the 2016 Monaco Yacht Show, the 54-meter flagship is built entirely in the advanced Umm Al Quwain facility. The 490-ton three-deck mega-yacht, scheduled for delivery at the end of 2019, will have a transatlantic capacity and range of over 4,000 nautical miles.
Majesty 175 will be the largest mega yacht in the world to be built fully as a Commercial Yacht over 500 GT (gross tons) using advanced composite materials and certified in full compliance with the MCA LY3 Code.
Majesty175 was developed in collaboration with two renowned Italian naval architects, Massimo Gregory of Milan-based Yankee Delta Design Studio, and Cristiano Gatto, who worked on the interiors and exteriors. The emphasis is on lounging and entertaining areas, highlighted by an aft beach club.
The voluminous design includes a seven-cabin layout, with a private owner’s suite on the upper deck and VIP accommodation on the main deck. The enlarged windows and increased light levels create a modern environment throughout the yacht and ensure full interaction with the outside environment. The foredeck features a swimming pool and a Jacuzzi.
Gulf Craft, during its recent participation in the Dubai International Boat Show, presented 6 new yachts and boats from the brands Nomad Yachts, Oryx and Silvercraft.
The Emirate’s shipyard set up in 1982. Their growing portfolio includes the luxury series of Majesty Yachts, the ocean-going Nomad Yachts, Silvercraft fishing boats and family cruisers, and Oryx sport yachts and cruisers.
