First Riva 50 m superyacht launched

The new flagship, named “Race” by its owner, took to the seas in a ceremony at the Riva Superyachts Division shipyard in Ancona.

Riva 50 m carries on the dream of Carlo Riva, a protagonist of the nautical world that in the 60s and 70s created the famous steel motor yachts of the Caravelle and Atlantic series. Riva 50 mt is a worthy heir of this family, with high standards of aesthetics, style, and innovation.

Race has a maximum beam of 9 meters and offers an extraordinary experience at sea, focused on comfort and attention to detail. Values that have led Riva to be a point of reference in the international boating world.

Riva Superyachts Division has created an avant-garde model, which combines advanced technological solutions with the unmistakable style of Made in Italy.

Riva 50 m is the result of the partnership between Officina Italiana Design, the studio led by Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta that exclusively designs the entire Riva range and the team of engineers selected for the design of the new Riva superyachts with the Product Strategy Committee of the Ferretti Group.

«Riva 50 mt is a great leap forward for Riva and for the world of pleasure boating, as well as offering an extraordinary show on the water. This yacht and its unique magnificence, amplified by its imposing dimensions, also represents an extraordinary result for the Riva Superyacht Division, which has built the biggest Riva ever realized by marrying and enhancing the stylistic excellence of the brand. From the smallest details to the most breathtaking design, this 50 meter is a treasure trove of beauty, illuminated by a legendary 177-year history and accompanied by an ultra-contemporary vision of yacht construction. The productive know-how that people admire in a work of this value is also the best possible example of the “Made in Italy” manifesto that is the signature of each of our brands», commented Alberto Galassi, CEO of the Ferretti Group.

The new Riva 50 m will officially make its debut at the Venice Boat Show in June, before landing at the Monaco Yacht Show.
