From Brusaporto to Portofino in a jiffy. Fifty-five years ago, the Cerea family brought the seafood cuisine to Bergamo. Today, they have reached the Ligurian sea. Enrico, Roberto, and Paolo Rota met at the DaV Mare kitchen to cook together with Executive Chef Roberto Villa.

Roberto Villa, for 20 years at the Splendido Mare, is known in the local gastronomic scene for his knowledge of the local cuisine and for the relationships of trust with fishermen and suppliers who guarantee him the freshest ingredients.

Great attention is paid to the quality of seasonal and locally sourced raw materials: fish and seafood from the Riviera are the real stars of the menu, even if there is no lack of ‘signature’ dishes from the Brusaporto restaurant, like the Paccheri alla Vittorio, finished with ritual mastery at the table in front of the guests.

Among the most popular dishes, the Great mixed fried fish and shellfish with fruit and vegetables, the Tomato tartare, agresto granita, bread with olives, the Linguine with lobster, and the Chocolate and mint DaV dessert. The restaurant overlooks the famous square and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, for a morning coffee as well as for an afternoon snack, completing the offer of the 14 rooms and suites of the Hotel Splendido Mare.

Il design di DaV Mare, curato da Festen Architecture, riflette la raffinatezza rilassata dell’hotel dove i riferimenti alla storia marinara del porticciolo si fondono con l’iconico glamour anni Cinquanta.
