boot Düsseldorf 2025: innovation and sustainability in the marine industry

From 18 to 26 January 2025, boot Düsseldorf returns as the international meeting point for the marine industry, presenting a comprehensive overview of sailboats and powerboats, surfing and diving equipment, and the latest technological innovations. The event, now in its new edition, serves as a platform to discuss the challenges and opportunities of the future, with a focus on sustainability and new technologies.

One of the central events at boot Düsseldorf 2025 will be the blue innovation dock (BID), hosted in Hall 10 and organised in cooperation with European Boating Industry (EBI). Thanks to the support of the Beneteau Group and Sanlorenzo Yachts, the BID will provide a space for experts, politicians and industry professionals to meet and discuss strategic topics for the boating industry.

The opening, scheduled for 18 January at 11 a.m., will feature German and European politicians discussing the economic importance of boating and water sports. Bruno Thivoyon, CEO of Beneteau Group, will give the opening speech, focusing on the theme: ‘Sustainability will only succeed if it improves the customer experience’. Following this, a panel will analyse the economic and political priorities of the European Union and the nautical sector between now and 2030.
