Imperiale by Chopard
The Coffret de l’Impératrice has five components. A watch, earrings, a ring, a necklace and an ornament for the head
THE NEW CAPSULE COLLECTION OF THE CHOPARD IMPERIALE line made its debut on the red carpet of the Venice Film Festival in 2015, worn by the charismatic American model Hilary Rhoda. Three-dimensional lace-work in pink or white gold and diamonds that emphasize the amethyst tone of purple, an imperial colour since the Byzantine era, all evoke the decorative motif of embroidered vestments and cushions where monarchs would place their insignia. In this self-winding mechanical watch, the decor in gold and diamond is laid over the glass to reveal and frame the mother of pearl dial. The lugs are also embedded with brilliant-cut diamonds and the case with baguette-cut diamonds. The same emblematic motif is upheld with tone-on-tone embroidery on the purple damask fabric strap and on the clasp.
