The 72.6m/238ft Motoryacht Quantum of Solace (ex Honor, ex Vicky), built by Turquoise Yachts, will be displayed at the Miami Yacht Show February 13-17th. She will be berthed at Island Gardens Marina, slip A1A. This is the first time the yacht has ever been in a show.
Launched in 2012 and designed by London-based H2 Yacht Design, she features the same platform as the 2019-launched 77m M/Y GO. Quantum’s on board amenities include a complete spa with sauna, and massage room on the lower deck at sea level and a full-beam master suite amidships on the bridge deck with fixed balconies port and starboard.
Many projects underway
Turquoise has several projects under construction at its two shipyards:
The 56m Explorer Yacht, Project Lombok, is nearing final stages of completion prior to delivery. With exterior and interior design by André Hoek, she is equipped with IMO Tier III diesel-electric propulsion and is designated Ice Class.
The 53m Motor Yacht Tala, which originated as a speculation project, has been sold. Both her exterior styling and interior design are by Miami-based studio DeBasto Designs. Delivery is expected in the fourth quarter of 2021.
The 74m Motor Yacht with the classically elegant exterior by A.Vallicelli and contemporary interior by Ken Freivokh Design features a multi-deck atrium around a central spiral staircase and double-height space. Delivery to her owner is expected in the second quarter of 2021.
The 75m Motor Yacht designed by A. Vallicelli features a low sloping angle at the transom and a long forward overhang at the bow, creating a slender profile even for a five-deck yacht. Special features include a nearly 360-degree gym on the sundeck and a full-beam beach club on the lower deck. The delivery date to its owner is planned to be the third quarter of 2021.
Turquoise has also recently revealed new concepts including:
55m Motor Yacht Amor designed by A. Vallicelli & C. is an evolution of the 74m Turquoise Yachts line. At 750 GT, she offers plenty of volume for multiple exterior and interior versions.
64m Motor Yacht Lyra by H2 Yacht Design incorporates some exterior features that are recognizable from Turquoise Yachts’ 72m Vicky and the 77m Go.
74m Motor Yacht Barracuda Explorer’s by H2 Yacht Design features a unique style, representing a departure from most yachts but reflecting a shift in owners’ needs.
62m explorer Nautilus saw DeBasto Design responsible for both exterior styling and interior design. The two cranes designed as a natural part of the superstructure are engineered to provide safe launch and recovery of boats or submarines, or sailing vessels, or cars, or…whatever is within the 10,000 kg weight parameters.
