Designed as a truly global explorer, Stormbreaker is said to be optimal at cruising in all climates in the most remote destinations on the planet, from the Polynesian Islands through to the Arctic Circle, or northwest passage. Standing out is the structural glass atrium, providing natural light and panoramic views.
Technology on board will include a fully integrated and interactive audiovisual experience by Icon Connect. With a Panoramic 360 imaging system to record and broadcast live footage, guests will never miss what happens in the surroundings. Additionally, the yacht will feature an interactive infotainment system for real-time environment and voyage awareness.
The superyacht will provide high bandwidth capable internet connectivity, even at the polar extremes of navigation, to meet the demands of a modern-day entrepreneur.
Designer Theodoros Fotiadis described the Stormbreaker owner as an adventurous shipowner who “when he sees the storm, he wants to get into it”.
“This yacht is for people who enjoy going off the grid and experiencing something unique” – stated the designer. “A very different muse to more traditional cruising. There is plenty of scopes to be creative with exterior styling and layout, as long as technical requirements and propulsion elements, in this case Diesel-Electric, are fully integrated from the outset.”
Stormbreaker’s layout includes a tender garage to house smaller boats or a submarine, a beach club, a spa-gym complex, cigar lounge, observation deck, pool, dining lounge, private office, art gallery, library and heli hangar.
