T450 is the first Tankoa Yachts model less than 50 meters long. The new model thus extends the range towards a more compact superyacht segment just over 400GT. Interiors by Giorgio Cassetta.

“Starting from the extraordinary success of our 50 metre platform, with Bintador and Vertige already delivered and two more hulls under construction, the T450 confirms Tankoa’s desire to build yachts under 500GT, which are designed with a great yacht mentality and quality”, explains Giuseppe Mazza, Sales Manager of Tankoa. “This new 45-metre yacht has been designed to guarantee maximum flexibility and, in terms of interior and exterior space, to look like a much larger yacht.”

Built-in steel and aluminum, the T450 has an exterior design that follows the previous Tankoa models, with the addition of vertical architecture to the superstructure and the shape of the windows, balanced by clean horizontal lines.

Up to 12 guests on board, housed in 6 cabins. The layout includes a full beam owner’s suite and VIP suite forward of the main deck, plus four en-suite cabins on the lower deck.

When Tankoa asked us to prepare a proposal for the new T450, our instinct was to analyze our previous experiences with yachts of similar or larger dimensions so that we had a clear vision of what the design should look like,” says Giorgio Cassetta. “The yacht has an elegant style that is deliberately free of any unnecessary decoration. The interior design includes large, uninterrupted living spaces and is ‘warmed’ by the use of marine materials and earth tones. The very rich construction parameters and specifications will make the T450 a unique yacht in this market segment”.

The open space salon/dining room, equipped with full-height windows, overlooks the large aft deck, which recalls the design of some super sailing yachts. This huge terraced area acts as an open-air beach club, with a glass swimming pool in the center, flanked by steps down to the bathing platform at sea level. The T450’s flexible design allows for alternative layout solutions, such as a stern-facing seat on the lower level and a large bar area on the upper level.

The large sundeck offers the option of an additional swimming pool, sunbathing area, sheltered dining area, a forward bar with sofas, and a dayhead.

The bridge deck also offers a cool dining area for guests and a sky lounge that can be used as a media room. A further large lounge/social area is located on the open bow deck in front of the bridge deck, where the guest tender and rescue tender are stowed.

On the lower deck, in addition to the guest cabins, aft is the crew area with galley, dinette, extra cold room, laundry, and sleeping accommodation for eight crew members, as well as the captain’s accommodation on the bridge deck, with direct access to the wheelhouse.

The T450 can be equipped with hybrid propulsion to reduce fuel consumption and emissions and minimize noise and vibration.
