After the success of the 69.3m Suerte and 72m Solo, Tankoa and Francesco Paszkowski collaborated on the development of a new 70m featuring a vertical bow and great customization possibilities.
Next 70, Tankoa‘s latest project developed in collaboration with the design studio Francesco Paszkowski, is characterized not only by its vertical bow, but also by arches connecting and joining all the decks towards the stern, creating a sensation of balance and continuity.
“The design of this new 70-metre vessel incorporates Tankoa’s distinctive features and combines them with new solutions”, explains Francesco Paszkowski. “The aim was to develop a yacht with an innovative style and technical features that would confirm Tankoa’s role as one of the leading shipyards in the superyacht industry.”
Three different types of superstructures will be available that can be integrated into the style of the exterior.
The vertical bow is reminiscent of the yard’s previous 50-metre projects and will remain a feature of future projects. The internal layout, in particular the forward area, will be organised on two levels connected between the main and upper decks.
The owner’s suite is spread over the main deck and the upper deck, for a total area of 150 square meters with terraces along both sides and a private gym. It is directly connected with the bow deck and the helipad through the upper deck and a private internal staircase, which opens onto a large space with a panoramic lounge and a dining area / meeting room.
All outdoor areas are designed as terraces overlooking the sea, featuring a large use of frameless glass to increase visual contact with the surrounding environment.
On the forward section of the upper deck, in front of the owner’s area, there is an alfresco area with a swimming pool. Another pool is located on the aft section of the main deck, above the beach club on the lower deck, with a spa with sauna and hammam.
The atypical layout does not include the classic skylounge on the upper deck, which will be replaced by two VIP suites aft of the central lobby. Guests will also find two VIP suites on the main deck and two ensuites on the lower deck, where there is also a gym for guests to use. A particularly flexible configuration, especially for charter use.
The second living room on board, instead of on the upper deck, was built on the fly deck and opens out towards the stern onto a convivial area with circular sofas.
The sun deck has a large area with sun beds and integrated shower accessible from the main staircase that connects all the decks.
The aft garage can accommodate a 9-metre limousine tender and a second 5.5-metre tender. An additional crew, rescue and jet ski tender is located under the helipad at the bow.
Finally, the project integrates the lighting system as a design element; a solution that is particularly evident in the play of LEDs in the conversation and dining area outside on the main and upper decks.
