They are a Dolphin 95, a Classic Supreme 132 and a Mediterranean 116, all in the Class category and coming just short after the launch, in Livorno, of Benetti’s three giga yachts. These include the FB275, the 108-metre fleet’s flagship.
One, two, three. Three Benetti super yachts touched the water for the first time in rapid succession. On March 21 Baya, the fifth unit of Delfino 95, a 29-metre yacht with a classic and elegant style. The engines, two Man V8s of 1,000 horsepower each, allow you to travel about 2,400 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots. For quicker movements, the boat can reach 14.5 knots.
The spacious and welcoming interiors of this boat are furnished with innovative combinations of marble, polished brass inserts and Ash, Eucalyptus and Tay woods that offer an interesting alternation of materials and colours. The external lines, designed by Giorgio M. Cassetta, are the starting point for creating interesting light effects in the rooms through large windows.
On 3 April it was the turn of BS012, the twelfth unit of Classic Supreme 132, 40 metres long, whose external lines bear the signature of the architect Stefano Righini. The interiors are a project by Benetti’s Interior Style Department, which finalised the furnishings according to the owner’s instructions and requests. To give more character to the boat, in fact, these have been embellished with iridescent metallic leathers and marbles with many veining: the Port Laurent, the Sahara Noir and the Rino White.
The convivial aspect of BS012 translates into the choice of placing a grille in the centre of the table on the Fly. This is a solution never seen before on this model of boat: the teppan, a high-performance plate made of metal that allows guests to eat food directly from the hob.
Finally, on 6 April, Big Five, a 35.5-metre yacht and the fifth Mediterranean 116 arrived. Again, the exterior of the model is signed by Giorgio M. Cassetta. A large area is dedicated to the owner in the forward part of the Main Deck, with a private studio that isolates him from the most convivial environments of the yacht. The full-beam suite ensures intense baths of light through panoramic windows and the bathroom area is divided into two areas for him and her, with a large shower enhanced by a seat bench covered in marble.
