Quick’s latest video shows in just over a minute how their complete maneuvering system assists the owner in mooring with ease and safety.

Quick’s maneuvering systems offer a choice of products including different types of propellers and accessories. The maneuvering propeller can become an active part of the system by simultaneously interfacing with the control system and the propulsion motors.

The range of maneuvering propellers includes multiple models that provide maximum thrust performance from 25 to 1,000 kgf (kilogram-force) for boats up to 150 feet. Designed to be installed at bow and stern thanks to the special tunnels that make possible the two different installations, the propellers are available with an electric motor for fixed installations (BTQ model), in retractable version (BTR model) and with hydraulic motor (BTH model).

The retractable propellers (model BTR) are products equipped with electromechanical systems that allow the propeller to return comfortably inside the hull, safeguarding the fluid-dynamic efficiency of the boat during navigation and can be installed at bow and stern.

BT DC-AC brushless proportional propellers do not require maintenance to the motor. Designed for extremely prolonged use, they are very quiet.

“We have expanded our historical range with models of propellers for small boats and with models for larger boats – comments Michele Marzucco, President & CEO of Quick SpA – This is a clear signal that today’s boating market must be able to embrace the needs of an increasingly wide audience of owners, which rewards technology and innovation but also the ability to provide answers to targeted and irrefutable needs and requirements”.

The video also highlights how the use of propeller control systems such as push buttons, joysticks and QNN has made life on board even easier.
