The purpose of the actions taken by Perini Navi Board of Directors may preserve the company’s activity and history.
Perini Navi S.p.A. Board of Directors has decided to undertake a process aimed at restructuring the Company’s debt, hopefully by means of an agreement pursuant to article 182 bis l.f., in order to safeguard operations and business continuity; the Board of Directors has resolved that, in order to achieve this objective, it will shortly file an appeal before the Court of Lucca, pursuant to article 161, paragraph 6, of Royal Decree dated 16 March 1942.
Through this procedure, the Company intends to use a crisis management tool to overcome a moment of significant financial tension, aggravated by the emergency situation caused by Covid-19 and its impact on all markets.
The objective pursued by the Company‘s Board of Directors is to preserve the company’s business and history by giving continuity to the important orders in place and ensuring the best possible satisfaction for its creditors, in accordance with the path being taken.
