At the “Private Preview” of the Ferretti Group, the six premieres of Ferretti were presented for the first time. They will make their debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival on Tuesday, September 10. Lionel Richie was the guest of honor of the evening, performing an exclusive concert for the guests of the annual Ferretti Group event organized in collaboration with the Yacht Club de Monaco.

An unforgettable evening, marked by the notes of the hits of a myth of music: this is how the Ferretti Group decided to launch the season of the most important international boat shows. For the fifth consecutive year, Ferretti Group and the Yacht Club de Monaco have given a unique show to the shipowners invited to the “Private Preview”, the event with which the Group presents a preview of the Ferretti Yachts, Pershing, Riva, Itama, Custom Line and Wally fleet, just a few days before their debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival.

Lionel Richie, the pop legend with over one hundred million records sold to the credit, made the evening event memorable.

The enthralling sounds of “All night long”, which gave the title to the concert, intertwined the audience in the extraordinary location of Monte Carlo, with a view on the fleet of over 25 yachts representing all the brands of the Group.

Lionel Richie, honored in 2003 with the star of the Hollywood Walk of Fame and winner of several Grammys, has played one after another all his greatest hits: from “Easy” to the timeless “Say you say me”, winner of an Oscar and a Golden Globe as best original song, from “Hello” to “Truly”, just to name a few.

“Lionel Richie’s career is dotted with incredible hits, listening to them and dancing them one after the other excited us and our guests,” said Ferretti Group CEO Alberto Galassi. “It’s the best start for the boating season that awaits us: our sensational boats are about to be presented at the most important boat shows and this year we will once again be able to win the hearts and minds of shipowners and lovers of beauty.”

In the Yacht Club marina, the Ferretti Group fleet was the setting for six world premieres: the Riva Dolceriva, the Custom Line 106′, the new Ferretti Yachts 720, the latest fantastic Riva 90′ Argo flybridge, the luxury sports yacht Pershing 8X and the 48 Wallytender with its iconic design. The boats are available for exclusive visits and sea trials, and ready to sail, at the end of the Preview, towards Cannes, where the 42nd edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival will take place from 10th to 15th September 2019.

Alongside Ferretti Group on this special occasion: Jaguar Land Rover, the official automotive partner who will exhibit some of its magnificent models; Frette, Redaelli and Gentili Mosconi, who sign the furnishings of Custom Line and Ferretti Yachts models; Pinetti for the supply of exclusive interior furnishings; Roda, official supplier of elegant outdoor furniture. The partnership also continues with Sabrina Montecarlo, who has embellished the yachts with furnishing accessories. Seabob also exhibits the magnificent limited editions with customized livery, made specifically for the Group’s brands, Slam signs the crew uniforms, Venom Design customizes and makes unique a Jetski for Pershing, on display during the Private Preview, and 8-Light supplies luxury lamps and LEDs.
