Only three months ago, it was officially premiered in Miami, now the shipyard has announced the sale of a Mangusta GranSport 33 in America. The project by Alberto Mancini will be ready in 2020.
“This sale confirms that this project as it was conceived, combining cutting-edge design and technology, interests and pleases” comments Francesco Frediani, Mangusta sales director. “We were counting on this success, but it proved surprising for the brevity of the transition from the presentation phase, with the rendering and video making, to the finalisation of the negotiations. A success that, as always happens for a sale, comes thanks to a combination of the right product, the Owner in love with the project, and a team that has been able to work well. We would also like to thank our US Area Manager, Stefano Arlunno, for this specific case”.
The Mangusta GranSport 33 is the new entry level of the range, sharing the same design principles as the larger models, starting with a strong stylistic personality, elegance and sportiness linked to great comfort. Exteriors and interiors communicate through a unique design code that enhances the typical Mangusta “en plein air” lifestyle.
The owner’s suite is located on the main deck, offering the owner more space and privacy. The deck is completed by a saloon with full-height windows, two of which can be opened, and the galley, adjacent to it. The lower deck houses 4 cabins available in different solutions, the Interiors office of Overmarine Group will work with the Owner to define the layout and the choice of furnishings and decorations.
The Mangusta GranSport 33 is equipped with 4 Volvo Penta D13 (1000HP) 2400 rpm coupled with 4 Volvo Penta IPS 1,350 and its performance is optimised in terms of consumption up to a maximum speed of 26 knots, all in accordance with the emission control standards set by the IMO Tier III and EPA Tier 3 regulations.
The Mangusta GranSport 33 also features great mooring manoeuvrability, facilitated by the “Joystick Docking”, and dynamic positioning, which allows the boat to remain stationary in one position. The stability on board is entrusted to a sophisticated combined Humphree system, consisting of four fin stabilizers electronically controlled with the active Interceptors positioned on the transom. The draught, which is only 1.9 m (6.23 ft), makes the boat suitable for even the shallowest seabed.
