The American giant launches Garmin Force, its new electric motor designed for anglers, equipped with Chirp Ultra High-Definition transducer.
Among the strengths of the new Garmin Force there is a powerful brushless motor, which can be powered by both 24V and 36V, minimizing fuel consumption and making it very quiet.
The motor incorporates a transducer with Chirp Ultra High-Definition technology that, connected wirelessly to a compatible chartplotter, provides, thanks to the ClearVü and SideVü functions, very high definition images of the structures and fish under and on the sides of the boat for a clear and efficient reading in any condition.
The wireless integration with compatible chartplotters also allows the management of the engine directly from the display, using functions such as the route to a waypoint, the Auto Guidance and the ability to follow a track. The Anchor Lock function, thanks to the integrated GPS sensor, allows you to maintain the chosen fishing position in spite of wind and current.
The new Garmin Force engine can be controlled using a pedal with a wireless connection that can be powered by a battery or by a cable connected directly to the on-board battery.
In addition to the pedal, the package includes a waterproof and floating remote control with Point-and-go function, equipped with anti-reflective display.
The new Force trolling Motor will be available by the third quarter of 2019 with prices included, depending on the 50″ or 57″ model, between €3,799 and €3,999 including VAT.
