Evo Yachts presented its new model Evo T2, signed by Valerio Rivellini. A seven-meter model born as a superyacht tender, which is also perfect as a day boat.
The latest project developed by the Evo Yachts shipyard was born as a custom tender, commissioned to designer Valerio Rivellini by the owner of a new 46-meter superyacht Sanlorenzo. A unique project of its kind, which manages to offer the comforts of a day cruiser. Initially conceived as a custom project, it will be mass-produced, giving rise to a new range of day boats for superyachts.
“When Valerio Rivellini presented us with the idea of a custom tender, we immediately decided to take a new challenge,” said Alfredo and Rosario Mercuri, owners of the Evo Yachts brand, “Today, when we see the new Evo T2 on the water, we can only be satisfied with the choice made. We absolutely intend to continue the production of this model, which allows us to enter a new market segment and expand our range”.
“From the very beginning the owner had very clear ideas: he wanted a luxury object, elegant and performing at the same time. Together with Tonino Cappiello, the owner’s manager, after an analysis of what was on the market, we decided that the best way to respond appropriately to these requests was to design a tailor-made tender. We were able to meet all his needs by creating a product that reflects the soul of Evo Yachts in aesthetics as well as functionality. I am proud of the final result, the result of the synergy with an exceptional shipyard” commented the designer Valerio Rivellini.
Evo T2 is equipped with a console that lifts and lowers electrically to facilitate driving operations. Thanks to this solution, the tender reaches a height of only 1.45 meters, making it easier to position inside the garages and the beach area.
Onboard equipment includes a battery charger, an engine battery, and a service battery, a 12-24 volt converter, a quayside cable, accommodation and charging of two seabobs, a table for eight people, an electric winch, a tow hook for water skiing and a hydraulic ladder to the sea.
The Evo T2 also features a sofa that can be transformed into a sundeck, a steel refrigerator in the cockpit and a practical awning. The front and rear bonnets guarantee complete access to the engine compartment. Evo T2 is equipped with a 300 hp inboard coupled with a water jet transmission, ensuring a maximum speed of 36 knots.
All onboard functions can be controlled from a control panel on the driver’s seat, entirely touch screen, or from the smartphone. To facilitate launching and hauling operations and to be able to carry them out in maximum safety even in sea conditions, Rivellini has designed a system that provides four balanced lifting points that minimize the oscillations during the operations of handling the boat.
