The first unit of the new model in the Custom Line planing series touched water in Ancona at the Superyacht Yard Ferretti Group. The 32-meter long and 7.40 meter wide unit is a project signed by Francesco Paszkowski Design.
Faithful to its tailor-made philosophy, Custom Line has “tailored” this 106′ to the needs of its owner, with very personal and strongly characterizing interiors. Outstanding are the large walkable areas, totalling 220 m², which are all interconnected. The main deck is flooded with natural light from the large full-height windows. The full-beam master cabin is at the far end of the bow, while on the lower deck there are four standard cabins: two VIP cabins amidships, and two twin cabins in the bow.
“As with homes, when it comes to the finest yachts, rather than just buying them, you make them. This is the quintessential sense of being and creating at Custom Line,” stated Alberto Galassi, the Ferretti Group CEO. “The nautical and aesthetic expressive qualities of the Custom Line 106’ are unbeatably rich, because they draw on the voices and inspiration of hugely talented people. It is the only way to ensure that the specific requirements of owners and their families are met, thus giving rise to yachts that are guaranteed to set a new benchmark in the field.”
The yacht will be unveiled for the first time in June, during the Venice Boat Show. A private event will be dedicated to a selected group of owners. The official presentation to the public is scheduled for September at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
The Custom Line 106 is equipped with a pair of MTU 16V engines with a power of 2,217 hp, with a maximum speed of 23 knots. The optional motorization, which provides for a pair of 16V MTUs with a power of 2,638 hp, can reach a maximum speed of 26 knots. This is the second model in the brand’s new planing range, followed by the arrival of Custom Line 106, also designed by Paszkowski Design, with Margherita Casprini interiors.
