Project K584 was delivered by CPN & Yachting Expertise in Ancona at the end of July, within the terms of the contract. Yachting Expertise took care of all technical aspects, while the interiors are the work of architect Pierluigi Floris.

The contract was signed in June 2018. Project K584 left Ancona less than 25 months after that date thanks to a very accurate project planning.

It all began at the end of 2017, when the proposal of the Italian Shipowners met the pencil and vision of Andrea Vallicelli and Alessandro Nazareth from the Andrea Vallicelli Design studio.

The design is bold, with a certain military flavor, given by a not faired steel hull finished in grey.  A stylized red “K” stands out towards the bow, further characterizing the boat. The result is a modern and elegant multi-purpose explorer yacht.

The owners’ passion for professional diving and the discovery of remote locations required the boat to include a tender, along with all the diving equipment. The 6-meter Tideman tender is operated by a 2.0-tonne HS-Marine crane.

The CPN shipyards in Ancona, owned by the Belardinelli family, boast a long and fruitful experience in the construction of customized yachts.

Cristiana Belardinelli, the owner of CPN, said “it has been a surprising and very challenging experience to go through the whole process of design, development, and construction, experienced in a very direct way also by customers. Watching this brilliant jewel leave our quayside and take to the sea on August 1st made me and our family very proud”.

Naval architecture

Behind the launch of K584 is also the Yachting Expertise team, led by Gianluca Fenucci and Antonio Longobardi.  YE was responsible for the overall project development and technical aspects, including naval architecture and construction engineering. The project saw the collaboration of several other companies, including the Dutch company Marin for tank testing and hull design. Lorenzo Barbini from Yachting Expertise also played a key role in coordinating the interior engineering and the integration of systems and structures.

Gianluca Fenucci of YE commented: “K584 is a great and unique story of human relationship, ambition, professionalism, respect, intense teamwork and love for the work we have been doing for three decades, always with the same professionalism, passion and dedication. Yachting Expertise has had the responsibility to keep all these values well balanced to realize an innovative project that we trust will raise the level with its personality, elegance and amazing performance”.

Owners attended all the test sessions at sea and were amazed by the smooth, silent, efficient, and stable cruising.

This impression was confirmed by Antonio Longobardi‘s analysis, who said he was very satisfied to have exceeded all contractual expectations, especially with regard to noise and vibration data.

The interiors

The interiors are the work of the architect Pierluigi Floris, who worked closely with the Owners to customize all the internal elements of the K584.

The K584 features a bright and spacious main salon on the main deck, leading to the galley to starboard and the foyer to port, connected to a gym and VIP cabin forward.

The aft upper deck is completely dedicated to the owner’s cabin with a private outdoor terrace protected by a canopy integrated into the superstructure of the yacht. On this terrace with a view of almost 360 degrees, the mirrored exterior windows create an extraordinary reflective effect. The VIP cabin and two other guest cabins are located on the lower deck to accommodate a total of 10 people.

Crew facilities are located in the middle of the ship with 3 cabins, a separate laundry room equipped with professional units and a crew dinette with seating for 5 people. Also in this area there is a custom 6 cubic meter cold room with separate refrigerator and freezer to meet the food needs of long voyages.
