At Seawork International 2019, in Southampton from 11th to 13th June, Cox Powertrain’s EMEA will offer a demonstration program of their diesel outboard, the CXO300.
The British company will offer visitors to this year’s Seawork International a chance to participate in on-water demonstrations of its performance diesel outboard. The demonstrations will take place on Wednesday 12th and Thursday 13th June.
As a heavy-duty diesel-powered outboard engine, the CXO300 brings a single fuel alternative to the global commercial workboat market, offering the benefits of diesel, such as fuel efficiency and safety, with the cost-reducing benefits of operating an outboard. Reduced maintenance and haul out costs will also be an important factor as they lessen the disruption to the vessel’s operation.
The CXO300 offers at least a 25% better range compared to a gasoline outboard, with a 100% higher peak torque at the crankshaft than the leading gasoline 300hp outboards, which enables the craft to move more weight more efficiently, reaching peak torque and top power more quickly.
Cox Powertrain will be joined by their UK distributor, Berthon. On their main stand in the exhibition area, the team will be on hand to answer questions. With ownership costs, a top priority for commercial operators, Cox’s Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) calculator will be available on the stand for visitors to calculate their personalized cost of owning a CXO300.
