Azimut Yachts will attend the American boat show in Miami, from 13th to 17th February, with the world premiere of the Verve 47, an atypical open boat equipped with 4 outboard engines of 450 hp each.
Alongside the new Verve 47, the Azimut S8, the S6 Sportfly, and the 78 Flybridge will also be present for the first time in America. The shipyard has also chosen to display another 14 yachts, bringing the total fleet to 18 models.
The new Verve 47 is a pure open, that introduces a whole new way of cruising at high speeds, accompanied by excellent maneuverability. It is the result of a collaboration between Azimut Yachts, Francesco Struglia, head of design, and Michael Peters, designer of the hull. The boat is powered by four 450 horsepower outboard engines, each with a maximum speed of 50 knots, controlled by a latest-generation joystick, in addition to various technological solutions that complete the project.
Federico Ferrante, President Azimut|Benetti Americas, commented: “Azimut Yachts is one of the few global nautical brands with a strong presence in the USA. With this in mind, we wanted to create a boat that was particularly suited to the American market – which is why we decided to present the new model in Miami – but that had Italian appeal. This is how the Verve 47 was born, a yacht destined to conquer those who love fast, sporty and exciting sailing, but who also appreciate elegance and fine design”.
Alongside the new Verve 47, there will also be the other model in the same collection, the Verve 40, and two examples in the Atlantis line, the 45 and 51. The range most represented will be Flybridge, with six models: 50, 55, 60, 66, 72 and, finally, the 78, which will be making its debut in the United States.
The S collection
From the S collection, characterized by high tech solutions, high-performance materials and large open spaces, there will be the two versions of S6. The model was exhibited in Times Square last spring, attracting many people. The Coupé version and the Sportfly version are making their official debut on American soil. To complete the range there is also the S7 and especially the S8, at its first overseas appearance.
From the Magellano collection, ideal for long-range sailing and characterized by yachts with low fuel consumption and wide autonomy, there will be Magellano 66. Grande, the top of the range collection of Azimut Yachts, will be represented by three models: the 25, 27, and the 32 Meters.
Azimut Yachts will be at the Miami Yachts Show (One Herald Plaza) at stand Slip A1. The Verve 40 and Atlantis 45 and 51 will be on display at the Miami Boat Show (Virginia Key) at stand 641-643-645.
