Just delivered to tennis superstar Rafael Nadal, the 80 Sunreef Power Great White has been attracting a lot of interest in the industry since the beginning of June. Here are photos of the owner on board his luxurious 80-foot motoryacht.
Rafael Nadal’s passion is something born since childhood: an expert navigator, the champion takes every opportunity to go out at sea with friends and family. The idea of building a custom catamaran has long been part of the superstar athlete’s plans. Nadal, fascinated by the yacht’s design and living space, joined the family of Sunreef Yachts owners, taking over the 80 Sunreef Power Great White last month.
The 80 Sunreef Power Great White can accommodate up to 8 guests thanks to its comfortable 4 cabin layout. Her starboard hull houses the owner’s suite, one of the yacht’s guest cabins and crew quarters.
Equipped with ample living space, the main owner’s cabin features a walk-in closet, a sofa, a flip-top TV above the double bed, and a private foldaway balcony. The port hull can accommodate two more spacious guest cabins and the catamaran galley.
The Great White saloon has two large aft sofas, a dining area for 8 people in the bow, and two 77” TVs installed one behind the other. An additional relaxation corner has been set up next to the bow terrace entrance.
The full-beam aft cockpit of the catamaran offers an extraordinary outdoor dining area well protected from sun and wind and equipped with a weatherproof TV. Under the large sofa, the Great White‘s aft garage hides a jet-ski and a selection of toys with a fuel station. A large hydraulic platform has been installed to transport the tender and provide an additional place to sunbathe next to the water.
The flybridge provides guests with an outdoor lounge arranged in cozy seating areas, a bar, large sunbathing areas, and a hideaway TV.
Great White‘s propulsion comes from twin 1,200 hp engines that allow a top speed of 23 knots and a cruising speed of 16 knots.
In the September issue of Barche, you will read the exclusive interview with the world tennis champion.
